How fast is the turnaround on an unlimited graphic design subscription?
Average turnaround is 48 hours for most requests, and often faster for smaller work. Larger projects like full brand identities, multi-page websites or print-ready packaging are broken into 48-hour stages so you always have something to review. No queues, no junior designers learning on your time, no surprise delays. Most new subscribers see their first finished design within two working days of signing up.
Who actually does the work?
That's me, Dan - just one senior designer. Slate isn't an agency with a revolving door of designers or a platform that farms out work. Every project you send comes back from the same experienced pair of hands. You'll notice the consistency.
How do I submit a design request?
Once you subscribe, you'll get access to a dedicated dashboard where you can add requests your way: type a brief, drop in a Google Doc, share a wireframe or anything you prefer. Whatever gets the brief across, works for me.
What if I don't like the design?
No worries, revisions are unlimited. I'll keep going until the work lands exactly where you want it. There's no extra charge for revisions, and no limit on how many rounds we take.
How does the pause feature work?
Subscriptions run on 31-day billing cycles. If you've used 18 days and want to pause, the remaining 13 days are banked for later. Come back whenever your queue is ready; no need to let time go to waste. The pause function is only activated once all outstanding requests are completed. Once a subscription has been paused, it cannot be resumed for 14 days.
Can I use Slate for just a single month?
Absolutely. There's no minimum commitment. Use it for a month, take a break, and come back when you need it. Some clients are year-round, others dip in for specific launches. Both work perfectly well.
Is there anything Slate doesn't cover?
A few things fall outside scope: 3D modelling, motion graphics and video and complex interactive coding (although do let me know what you have in mind). If you're unsure whether your request fits, just ask before subscribing.
What software do you design in?
Most work is done in the Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. You'll always receive source files alongside the deliverable, so you're never locked in.
